A junior clinic will be the kick-off for festivities at 2015 version of The Great Waterway Classic held at the Loyalist Country Club in Bath,Ontario says the host organization.
On Wednesday the Canadian Junior Golf Association announced that a clinic for young golfers will be sponsored by Freedom 55 Financial and take place on August 24th, the Monday of tournament week. Junior golfers will be able to learn from Mackenzie Tour professionals in the field that week during a one hour session.
“We are delighted to extend our partnership with Freedom 55 Financial into our Mackenzie Tour event and continue to provide opportunity to junior golfers,” said Brad Parkins, event Tournament Director and COO of the Canadian Junior Golf Association.
As the CJGA’s national partner, Freedom 55 Financial has been involved with junior golf as the presenting sponsor for over 90 junior golf clinics across the country. Freedom 55 Financial’s Clinics for Kids program is designed to invite and encourage kids from local communities to learn the foundations of golf through fun and informative clinics.
Official rounds for The Great Waterway Classic get under way Thursday August 27. Tickets are available online, in person at Loyalist Golf & Country Club Pro Shop or Lennox & Addington County General Hospital Foundation Office on the main floor of the hospital. Tickets are $10 a day or $25 for a 4 day pass. Clubhouse VIP passes are available on a limited basis for $150 for the week (Thursday thru Sunday). All ticket pricing excludes tax.
All net proceeds from the event will be donated to the Lennox & Addington County General Hospital Foundation. Freedom 55 Financial to host Junior Clinic at The Great Waterway Classic
