With a sales ceiling and too many companies trying to sever up that pie I have personally put it in print many times that mergers were expected to be the order of the day in coming years.
There has been a strong history of it in the last decade and I can’t say the Press Release that came in from Dynamic Brands last night was a complete surprise.
Just as their name suggests they are a “dynamic” company and they have been in hard acquisition mode in the last few years – leading to them becoming a true golf success story in a struggling golf scene.
With a stable that already includes Bag Boy, Slotline, and AMF Golf – Dynamic enhanced their profile in the golf business with one fell swoop yesterday. It bodes well for the company and their already strong distribution channel to have so many recognizable brands under one umbrella.
