NGCOA Canada Names Brunton as National Spokesperson

The National Golf Course Owners’ Association of Canada (NGCOA Canada) has named Henry Brunton as their National Spokesperson for their Kids Play Golf initiative.

Brunton, a long-time PGA of Canada golf professional who was raised in Kemptville, Ontario, just south of Ottawa, is well known for his work with youth in golf around the world.  The former Head Coach of the National Golf Program was also the recent winner of the PGA of Canada’s Tex Noble Award for Professional Development.

In his role with the NGCOA Brunton will assist golf course owners in developing content that will hep them create and build their junior golf programs.

“I am honoured to be the National Spokesperson for the NGCOA Canada’s Kids Play Golf initiative. I look forward to promoting junior golf to kids, parents, and my fellow PGA of Canada Professionals from coast to coast. Kids Play Golf is a grassroots program focused on attracting Canadian kids to the sport of golf by making it a fun and exciting experience,” Brunton stated in a release from the NGCOA.

Brunton operates Henry Brunton Golf at Eagles Nest Golf Club in Maple, ON and works with Dr. Rick Jensen of Boca Raton, FL to conduct Certified Golf Coaches Association Training for PGA/LPGA Professionals (certifiedgolfcoach.com)
