“We have some incredibly impressive venues that are set to play host to RBC PGA Scramble Regional Finals in 2022,” said PGA of Canada president Teejay Alderdice. “Players who make it through local qualifying are in for a very memorable day, especially with the improvements RBC and the PGA of Canada teams have worked to implement this year.”
As there was previously, there will be a guaranteed spot for an all-female team at each Regional Final to encourage inclusiveness.
While people have few complaints about the event in general, in fact, being effusive in the praise for it, like all net events there are some concerns over scoring at times. That is being scrutinized.
Tournament organizers say they created a task force to consider the issue based on feedback of past participants and will have an announcement about handicap amendments for 2022 in the weeks ahead.
News is also expected about a growing number of partnerships for the event.
Player registration will open on April 4th.
