Regional Pros Faring Well

Three touring professionals from Eastern Ontario have made the cut at the final Canadian Tour event of the year and a couple of them are positioned quite well.

Brad Fritsch of Manotick, Oliver Tubb of Strirling and Matt McQuillan of Kingston are all in Palm Spring, California for the Desert Dunes Classic that concludes Sunday.

Through three rounds Fritsch is the best of that pack, having reached 11 under par.  That has him in 10th position and seven strokes back of the lead pack of Ryan Yip, Adam Hadwin, and Richard Lee who are all at 17 under par.

Tubb is two back of Fritsch at 9 under par, which puts him in a tie for 15th.

McQuillan is languishing in a tie for 37th at 5 under par.
