Revell Three Off Lead

Brad Revell of Kingston, Ontario is just three strokes off the lead in the opening round of the Hooters Tour Bridgestone Winter Series event south of Orlando, Florida.

Revell, a 2010 graduate of North Carolina State University where he played for the Wolfpack golf team, fired a five under par , 67, in round one on Tuesday.

That round currently puts him three strokes back of the lead held by Robert Rohanna and Brian Richey and in a tied for third place.

The 54-hole tournament wraps up on Thursday

Revell is trying to maintain a Canadian streak on the tour this season.  Stuart Anderson of Alberta won the last event prior to Christmas.

Anderson shot 68 in round one on Tuesday.

Also competing this week are a number of other Canadians, all lurking near the lead.  Robbie Greenwell, Christopher Ross, Matt Hill, and Yohann Benson all shot 69 in round one to share 7th place.
