Slow Start At Jane Rogers Championship

With leader Andrew Parr in the clubhouse at 6 under par after the first round of the Canadian Tour’s Jane Rogers Championship, golfers from Eastern Ontario made a relatively slow start on Thursday.

Lee Curry of Kemptville and Brad Fritsch of Manotick were the best of the seven players from Eastern Ontario in the field this week at the Greystone Golf Club in Milton, Ontario.  The Rideau View duo each posted 72, 1 over par on day one and sit in a tie for 26th spot.

The other players from the region in the field and their respective 1st round scores are:  Matt McQuillan (74), Brad Revell (75), Andrew Jensen (76), Scott Hawley (77), and Oliver Tubb (82).
