Brad Revell is off to another good start on the NGA Hooters Tour

In his second Bridgestone Hooters Tour event of the year, Brad Revell of Kingston is off to yet another fine start.

The former two-time Ontario Junior Champion and graduate of the North Carolina State Wolfpack golf program opened with 68 Tuesday at the Deer Island Golf Club in Tavares, Florida.

Revell is coming off a 19th place finish last week on the tour.

His round of 4 under par puts him a tie for 11th place after round one of three.  He will start the second round four strokes back of leader Brad Klapport who heads the field after a 64.

Marc-Etienne Bussieres of Gatineau, Quebec, shot 71 on Tuesday and sits in a tie for 31st place, right on the cut line.  The top 38 players plus ties will advance to the third and final round on Thursday.

Sitting between Bussieres and Revell is another Canadian.  Stuart Anderson of Alberta, a winner on this tour back in December, posted 69 Tuesday and is tied for 18th place.

LPGA Tour star Brittany Lincicombe, playing in the field to get some practice, shot 74 in her first round on the tour.  She is tied for 72nd place after round one.
