Face it, in golf marketing just about everything has been covered. Another promise of farther, longer, straighter is just not cutting it these days with the increasingly knowledgeable golfer.
Just like many other companies TaylorMade Golf has been working this treadmill for just a little too long. Not all consumers figure out that a solid golf swing is a more important path to golfing success than the latest golf club innovation but plenty are catching on.
As such it looks like TaylorMade, if this sneak peek commercial is any indication, might be taking things in a new direction with the upcoming R11 line of products. Distinctive in look; the company appears to be taking full advantage of that difference rather than just exalting how much further and straighter you could possibly hit the ball with an R11 driver.
Props to them for injecting some fun into their marketing efforts. This playful spot is pretty effective in the awareness department – a great way to leave consumers lusting after more information.
