A statement was released jointly Sunday by TMSI Sports Management Inc. (TMSI) and Brockville Country Club (BCC) stating that they had decided mutually to discontinue their working relationship, specifically TMSI’s consulting services to the club’s Board of Directors.

The club recently hired Doug Wark as their Director of Sports Operations, and as a result, the new management structure affected what services they required from outside the facility.

Both parties state that they were “pleased with the work done in 2016 to help improve operations at the eastern-Ontario facility and move the club further towards long-term sustainability.”

BCC President Tom O’Shaughnessy explained, “As a result of TMSI’s efforts in 2016, our club is in a stronger position than it was previously. We thank TMSI for their ideas, direction and programs implemented last year to steer the club in the right direction and we feel our current management team will take those recommendations and build on them going forward.”

Beginning in 2016 TMSI entered into an agreement with BCC to assist the club in generating revenue, their marketing efforts, and handling their member retention and growth strategies.

“We were pleased with our work at Brockville last season and feel the club is well positioned for continued growth,” stated TMSI Vice President, Rob Knights. “TMSI feels BCC is a great golf facility and we wish the club well this year and in the future.”
