Tough conditions faced the field Wednesday,June 1st as Val des Lac Golf Club in Ste. Sophie, Quebec was buffeted by gusty breezes during the second and final round for the Acura Classic, an event on the Association des Golfeurs Professionnels du Quebec Yamaha Cart Plus Tour.
Keven Senecal (Le Maitre) took top honours and $6,000 with his rounds of 71,70 for a one under par total.
Not far behind was a member of the CPGA Ottawa Zone, Michel Dagenais of des Erables. Dagenais took fourth place alone with his rounds of 73 and 71. That earned the long-hitting pro a cheque for $2,000.
Other Ottawa PGA members finishing in the top 20 were Graham Gunn of White Sands (73,75) and Chris Barber of The Landings (71,77) who each tied for 18th place to pick up $475 a piece.
