Two And Out

Kingston’s Matt McQuillan will have some time to practice this weekend after missing the cut at the PGA Tour’s Farmers Insurance Open.

McQuillan joined a lot of other fine players in the struggle to get the better of the North and South courses at Torrey Pines Golf Course in La Jolla, California.

The PGA Tour Rookie tallied 74-77 to miss the 36-hole mark.  He join fellow Canadians David Hearn, Stephen Ames, and Chris Baryla on the sidelines.  Mike Weir was the only Canadian to make the cut.

Bill Haas leads at eleven under par.
