Wolff Continues To Hold Citizen Championship Lead

Despite a higher round than she hoped at The Marshes Golf Club on Monday, July 4th, Bonnie Wolff of the Carleton Golf & Yacht Club has maintained the lead in the Ottawa Citizen Amateur Championship.

Wolff shot 81 at The Marshes but thanks to a first round of 71 she still maintains a three stroke advantage with two rounds to play.

Closing the gap was her good friend, club-mate, and defending champion, Lise Jubinville.  Jubinville shot 76 on Monday, tying for the low round of the day with Teri deLuis.  Wolff now sits at +8, 152 through two rounds with Jubinville at 155 and deLuis, a member of Brockville Country Club in third place at 157.

The third round of the Ottawa Citizen Amateur Championship will be played on July 25th at Kanata Golf and Country Club with the final round taking place the next day at Eagle Creek Golf Club.
