Congratulations to Hylands Golf Club member Lise Jubinville on her victory at the Golf Quebec Mid-Amateur Championship hosted at Hawkesbury G&CC and finishing play on Wednesday, June 19. The Ottawa Valley Golf Hall of Fame member posted rounds of 78-74-73 to surpass her nearest competitor by two strokes.
On the men’s side, Cory Eccles of Royal Montreal GC (72-68-69) was the winner at seven under par, six clear of second place. The top Ottawa Valley Golf Association (OVGA) golfer was Mark Coldham of Ottawa Hunt and Golf Club in a share of 4th place. He was the leader after day one with a round of 69 and added games of 76 and 74 to complete play.
OVGA golfers Ryan Sevigny (t-8) and Mark Swansburg (10th) also finished in the top ten.
