The LPGA TOUR will embark on their 2024 campaign next week with the limited field Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions but things will really start rolling the next week at the LPGA Drive On Championship. Both events are held in Florida but the first features only winners from the previous season (where Canada’s Brooke Henderson is the defending champion) while the latter is the initial open event where we will get a true taste of the the player line-up for the season ahead.
Not all those who recently earned their status on the Tour will be in the field, but it will give us a glimpse at a few of the rookies.
According to information from the Tour, there will be twenty-five rookies this season representing twelve countries. That includes Mississauga, Ontario’s Savannah Grewal who earned her way on to the circuit in December through the LPGA Q-Series. She’ll join four other Canadians as active LPGA Tour members this season – Brooke Henderson, Alena Sharp, Maddie Szeryk, and Maude-Aimee Leblanc.
