PING Expands Online Golf Education Portal

For years Arizona-based golf manufacturer PING has offered an online training program where the staff from their accounts could access knowledge about fitting their clubs. It’s become standard practice in the industry with multiple other companies having their own programs.

Now PING is taking their virtual-based education even further.

A new training program (offered to anyone with an interest and $299 USD) will share the immense knowledge of their team who work behind the scenes at PING. This includes engineers, fitters, data scientists, and researchers who help the company to innovate and guide them into the future. They call the home for this squad the PING Providing Grounds and now there is a PING Proving Grounds Certification that will provide a course for those wanting a deeper knowledge on many now essential elements of golf performance.

The certification program focusses on two pathways – Golf Science and Fitting.

Golf Science is divided into three sections – Pre-Impact Physics, Impact Physics, and Poet-Impact Physics, while Fitting Proficiency covers off the areas of Metal Woods, Set Configuration, Irons, Wedges, Putters, and Juniors.
