Already highly regarded as having some of the most forgiving drivers on the market today with their G430 line, PING has pushed even further with their latest model, the G430 MAX 10K. The latter demarcation indicates a combined Moment of Inertia for the clubhead at 10,000 g-cm², representing the most stable driver head the company has created to date. It is available at PING dealers for fitting and pre-order as of today, January 9, 2024.

This model represents the largest footprint to date for a PING driver, while staying within the USGA limitations of a 460cc clubhead.
To maximize performance a large, 28 gram, fixed backweight was used. This was possible through weight savings in other parts of the head, including the Carbonfly Wrap crown that weighs in at just 13 grams.
Notably golfers will notice a louder “crack” at impact for this club over the other G430 models, due to the new construction.
With the longer profile of the clubhead, working further back from the club face, golfers will note that there is a shallow clubface. The face itself is also variably thinner, leading to weight savings and more optimized face flexing for higher ball speeds off the forged T9S+ titanium face. As with other PING metals, the face curvature is varied to help optimize spin rates, especially in the areas of the face that are not located in the most efficient hitting area.
G430 MAX 10K HL (High Launch)
In addition to the standard PING G430 MAX 10K, an HL version is available with a lighter overall weight to better suit slower swinging golfers. Custom engineered and custom built at 46″ with a lighter backweight (19g), ultra-light shafts (PING Alta Quick 35/45) and grip (Lamkin UTx Lite, 41g), the result is a lower overall system weight so golfers can swing faster and generate more ball speed for higher- launching, longer-carrying and straighter tee shots. Available in 9.0°, 10.5°, and 12.0° lofts.
