On Monday, June 5, 2023, the Rotary Club of Ottawa South will once again host its annual Charity Golf Day. For the past 100 years, BGC Ottawa has provided a safe and supportive place for countless Ottawa children and youth. Its programs and services offer healthy food, sports, training, peer support and much more. Meanwhile, since 1967 Rotary Ottawa South has focused its community service lens on assisting the services offered for children, seniors and the disadvantaged in Ottawa South, and to non-profits serving the wider area.

“The Hunt” is ranked as one of Canada’s top 100 golf courses by ScoreGolf, and hosted the LPGA CP Women’s Open, in 2022, on its championship greens.

As with Rotary Ottawa South’s previous charity golf days, the tournament will be an 18-hole scramble beginning at 1 p.m. with a shotgun start on the south and west courses. Included with the registration fee will be lunch, a seated dinner and many chances to win some fabulous prizes (such as a new car) for the Hole-in-One, Closest to the Pin and Beat the Pro contests. There will also be prize draws, a 50/50 ticket draw, and open and silent auction items available. What a day!

We hope we’ve enticed you to register or sponsor the event. With approximately 144 players expected, please register soon. Registrants will be confirmed on a first-come first-serve basis.

Rotary Ottawa South’s team of volunteers look forward to welcoming you on June 5th, 2023 at the prestigious Ottawa Hunt and Golf Club for some friendly competition, lots of fun and a reason to support the good work being done by Rotary Ottawa South and the Boys and Girls Club of Ottawa.

Bringing people together to appreciate those who serve and support our community is at the heart of Rotary … and we seem to have much fun in the process!
