It’s the little engine that could in the long drive world. Started in 2022, the Endless Summer event hosted at Trillium Wood Golf Club in Belleville, Ontario will officially be a part of the World Long Drive circuit in 2024.

The Endless Summer Long Drive Championship Pro-Am will be one of just nine events on the WLD schedule for 2024 (and one of two in Canada) and will take place on June 14-15, 2024. (Full schedule below).

Event founder and organizer Jodie Jenkins expects the event will draw 60 of the world’s longest hitters but the supporting pro-am will offer a chance for amateur golfers to get involved, with spectator opportunities for many more.

In 2023 the finals of the Endless Summer long drive competition was held under the lights at Trillium Wood and featured some of the best hitters in the world, including world champions Kyle Berkshire and Martin Borgmeier. Six-time Japan World Long Drive Champio Naoto Misumi won the title.

“The alliance between the Endless Summer Long Drive Championship Pro-Am and World Long Drive marks a significant milestone for our event,” said Jodie Jenkins. “This partnership not only elevates the stature of our competition but also opens up new avenues for our participants to showcase their talents to a global audience. We are thrilled to be a part of the World Long Drive Tour and look forward to delivering an unforgettable experience for both the athletes and the spectators.”

World Long Drive VP of Operations, Zane Smith,, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, “The addition of the Endless Summer Long Drive Championship Pro-Am to our Tour is an exciting development for World Long Drive. This event has consistently demonstrated a commitment to promoting the sport of long drive, and we are eager to work together to push the boundaries of what’s possible in the world of competitive golf.”
