Canadians Sign On The Dotted Line: A Flock Are Headed To Play NCAA Collegiate Golf

Isaiah Ibit of Ottawa, recently signed with Kent State

It’s been many years since we started to track the progress of Canadian junior golfers to the collegiate ranks, and the task has done nothing but grow. In any given school year we have the privilege of tracking and reporting on hundreds of young men and women playing for USports, Canadian College, National Junior College (NJCAA), NAIA and NCAA programs.

One related date on the calendar always draws our attention, that is National Signing Day. This year it fell on November 8 and represents the first day athletes can sign their National Letter of Intent (NLI) to formally commit to attending a school. This early signing period for all sports besides football runs until November 15 but already many young Canadians has filled out their paperwork. This often happens in ceremonies with family, friend, and coaches to celebrate the years of hard work paying off in a college scholarship.

We have shared the news from many golfers on our X account but wanted to summarize the happenings in a single post here foe easy viewing. We will continue to update it as we receive more information. Until then, here are the Canadians who have signed an NLI to attend an NCAA school in either the United States or Canada (Simon Fraser U plays in the NCAA).
