From The Archives: 2017 Brooke Henderson Junior Clinic (Video)

We like to take a dive into the vault every now and then, showcasing stories or content from the past that our audience may find interesting.

Many fans around the golf world are familiar with Brooke Henderson now, as a thirteen-time LPGA Tour winner and major champion.

Not everyone, of course, has been privy to see her conduct a golf clinic.

With that in mind we are sharing one she did in 2017 for junior golfers at the Kevin Haime Kids to the Course Classic held near Ottawa, Ontario, less than an hour from where she grew up.

On that day in May, 2017, Brooke (with sister Brittany providing some commentary alongside host Kevin Haime) hits balls for about 15 minutes in cool weather at the Eagle Creek Golf Club. The Henderson sisters were fresh off a visit to Mexico where Brooke had finished tied for 9th in the Lorena Ochoa Invitational.

The day, which included a charity tournament and auction afterwards, raised more than $51,000 for the junior golf. Of note, many of the junior golfers in that crowd are now playing collegiate golf at schools across North America.
