Ottawa’s Graham Gunn completed his debut as a member of the 2010 Senior European Tour on December 13th with a tie for 32nd place. Playing in the The Mauritius Commercial Bank Open at the Constance Bel Mare Plage Resort Gunn posted rounds of 72, 75, 73 for a 221 total.
Gunn averaged three birdies a round this week but poor play on the back nine in rounds one and two, where he recorded scores of 39 and 40, hurt his chances of ending the event further up the leader board. Each of those two back nines included a double bogey.
The tour now takes a break before returning to tournament play in the new year. Even though The Mauritius Commercial Bank Open took place in 2009, it is part of the 2010 schedule and money earned goes towards the money list for next season. Final earnings for Gunn were not available at the time this story was filed.
Gunn earned his 2010 European Senior Tour card at the qualifying school in Portugal in November.
