Champions Crowned at OVGA Junior Spring Classic

The Meadows G&CC

It was a busy May 4/5 weekend at The Meadows Golf & Country Club, and unfortunately a wet day on Sunday, but that did not hamper the success of the Ottawa Valley Golf Association Junior Spring Classic. More than 100 juniors from around the Ottawa Valley, Ontario and Quebec made their way to the Gloucester, Ontario area golf club to compete for a myriad of titles and qualifying spots for larger events.

Not only were golfers playing for the titles at the OVGA’s season opening, there were also qualifiers for the Optimist International Junior Golf Championship, the Golf Ontario Junior Spring Classic, and the Golf Quebec U19 Championship for the bantam golfers.
